are you sure about this? i was told you needed special hardware...if not then everybody probably would've done it by now.
Why would they ?
I could do it easily but havent because I see no point in doing so, and by far most average users feel the same. I dont care for either the mediaplayer or the "flightmode", and thats all you get from the w800 firmware.
Most users prefer to keep the original firmware, and thus also keeping warranty and keeping the ability to future updating through seus.

OK guys, maybe i'm stupid but i canīt get it working using the original cable. I have installed the cruiser drivers and set the port/com number to 10 which is the usb com port. This is the message i keep receiving:
Error opening the serial port!
Error code:0x002f00
Someone can tell whats wrong either with me or with the settings =)
Sorry for this thread turning from cable question to a software question but the two feel related...

impossible to use the DCU-60 with totalmultiserver. To use totalmultiserver you must buy special service cable.
The only 3th party flasher that currenly supports flashing K750 (flash decustomize & language) is
www.davinciteam.com
W800 firmware can this moment not be flashed with DCU60

addition:
W800 can be flashed with W800 firmware ofcource (with DCU60), but cannot be used with K750 since phone will need conversion (conversions can at this time ONLY be done with service cable)

Ok. so once again, how to flash the k750i to W800i? what cable to use? where to buy it? And an answer this time, not adding up to the problem...

according to davinciteam, on their website in the news section at the top, "Converting to W800 will be available as soon as officially released "
and in downloads section "19-06-2005 - K750/D750 DCU-60 drivers
Download the drivers needed too use original DCU-60 cable.
To learn hot to use cable reffer to the manual section! "
suggesting that once the W800 flash is available, davinci may well be able to use the DCU-60. But that's a long bow to draw, and it may not be possible.
On the Total Multiserver website support page:
"Q1 Can I use the DCU-11,DCU-60 or DRS-11 with Total Multi-Server?
A1 No, these and other Original USB/Serial Cables are not supported by our software "
How freakin' easy was that. All I did was click the links in this thread.
Some people want it all done for them....

First of all max_wedge quoting
"How freakin' easy was that. All I did was click the links in this thread."
The easy thing is being a smartass such as yourself, the harder mission is reading the thread from the beginning and understand what is debated there before trying being a smartass. Mainly I was asking for the special service cable that are mentioned in TMS manual which I havent been able to find wherever looking. As a few suggested, flashing should be able using the DCU-60 and that is why I was asking HOW, as I had not been able to do so...

I did read the thread from the start, and when I went to Total multi server they explicitly state, that you CANNOT use a DCU60. What is more clear than that???
Surely if TMS say you can't use it you can't?
ok, ok, fair nuff, I can see how I misunderstood you. I'm just getting at the fact you berated people for not providing the info you wanted, when you could get it yourself. I suggest those who say it can be done at tms with a dcu60 don't know what they are talking about. I clicked the links myself to get clarification about the matter, simply because different posters were contradicting themselves. I didn't waste time trying to et clarification from peeps who couldn't agree amongst themselves.

max_wedge, I am still looking for the special service cable that should be used, not the DCU-60 cable...by now you could be starting to annoy me but I can't keep from laughing!
