yeah, i think so. because all they do is give you the phone and then the sim... i did that with a couple of previous phones. but i want the orange student package which means i have to go to an orange shop

CPW give unbranded handsets on O2 and Vodafone. Orange phones from CPW are usually branded and locked.

I wouldn't go by what the reps say; I spoke to one earlier in the week who said it would be available today. I called OCS this morning and the guy I spoke to said it would be released some time in August! The Orange store round the corner said they would be getting some in around now. Go figure.

hi well we at o2 got the phone in stock yesterday to go on sale today and i was playing around with it a bit. Having a k750i i have to say that i wasn't unimpressed but just not impressed with the phone. As far as the no branding goes it seems every bit as branded as my k750i ie o2 theme start up and shut down. The phone itself looks wise may take some getting used to, the 'white' colour seems to have a tint of green in it (may not suit all). Sony were kind enough to send the store a quality set of headphones though so we can demo the music capability of the phone. Also on start up thing are quite slow due to the fact it asks you whether you want to start phone or music only mode. Also the short cut key on the k750 seems to have more practical use than the walkman key on the w800i, mainly because it seems a waste of the music button at the side of the phone. But all in all its still a great phone, not so much an upgrade from the k750i but more of a re modelling.
