check the "post pictures taken with your w800" thread for comparison.
Tell o2 when you call regarding an upgrade that you can get the phone for free in phones4u. I did that in the store and they gave me the phone for nothing

Just rang the 02 upgrade line.
My contract expires in October so I can upgrade at the end of September.
However she said that if I ring back at the end of the week and pay a months bill (£20) they will send me the handset out, but before then they arent offering it as a upgrade.

well I tried to buy it, but my credit check failed

not sure why.
Vodafone just called me and offered me the K750 as a free upgrade on my current contract (Anytime 100). So I took that instead, should have it tomorrow:)
first time I went to a vodafone shop they said the K750 would be a £140 upgrade, then when I phoned for my PAC they said £29, now free:)

Same thing happened when I tried it, twice. There's nothing wrong with my credit rating, Orange gave me a contract a month ago (a C550 which was promptly returned). I think it's some sort of con, to stop people getting such a bloody good deal!
