I use 1gb. The price increment was too small not to double the memory from 512. Definitely buy as much mem as you can afford. It will greatly increase the phone's potential and your enjoyment of it.

2GB is the largest memory capacity available isn't it?
Friend from SE told me the D/K750i and the W800, can handle upto 4GB, but anymore than that, the phone/s would freeze up and crash all the time as not enough virtual memory to handle all the files!!!
