I am waiting on two phones..... The sucessor to the S710a and the sucessor to the P910a

The 1st mentioned above will be my everyday phone, while the second mentioned above will be my work phone.

With all the rumors and no word on any launch dates, I have to say that is taking to long for an announcement.

I switched my loyalty from Nokia many years ago, due to SE's interface and features. I still love , however I am also tired of waiting on the next upgrade.

If you are like me and consistently upgrade your phones, it is quite annoying to have to wait without any indication as to what SE's next technology will bring.

Hopefully no other maker will win my heart over as did when I dropped Nokia. , if you are listening, your customer base is growing anxious , while you sit on your A$$. Say something and stop leaving your customers in the air.........

you guys with upgradeitis make me laugh!

you want something just because you want something new.
I just sold off my SEK750i upgrade because I am still happily using my
p900 after 2 years.

I watch feature length movies on the way to work, listen to music, play games, internet ,email etc etc +all the PDA functions we all know about.

The p910 was ok but cant really do more for me that the p900 cant
and unless the P1000? blows it away i wont bother with that either.

For me to buy the p1000 would have to have a bigger better screen (VGA ), be lighter, wifi and have a decent game control interface, and a much more powerful processor & possibly a hard drive.

I have plenty of cash but no point wasting it on something i dont Actually need

@Spacedude> Your 2nd last para cotradicts your opening remarks. # I my apologies to Gardar and more so Massuer (not easy being a Mod ehh?) But Reo put it sooo rightly.. Living in a Democracy (and a Big one at that, India) I too believe in "Of the People, For the People, By the People" . Now unlike a Government, SE can only (with a sizable voice) be reached through Forums like Esato (over 70000 strong, to date) .. And WHY SHOULD NOT we raise opinions and debate ?If not here, where else can a "WE" be heard ? This message was posted from a S700

@spacedude

so what if we got upgradeitis! (as u put it) ... if you are happy with your p900 thats good for you! but as you said you also got your upgrade (k750) but due to your preference chose to remain with your p900.
me i like changing phones. its the beauty of being in uk and getting it free on contract.

and @Sonic> Its not about the Status Symbol.. Forget that its uber cool & the oomph factor. Functionality wise, Looks n Featurewise Customers demand /want something. I for one DO go with GuyH's POV. They cant be a Henry Ford saying '.. have it in any colour you want so long as its black' in current times!! Like Reo I too use P910 for my Office and want additions there, while S7 suffice otherwise. Others may want Sman added to UIQ, orWi-Max enabled. Thanks to Laffen we can atleast PULL :se: to know us better This message was posted from a S700

He he. I have to agree with REO ( :-D )and GuyH on this one. SE, I think, want to get the next P launch right. It has been postponed once already! I understand that the phone is adequate for some but technology moves very fast and it is easy to fall behind. People simply demand more from their devices. The P910 does seem a little long-in-the-tooth (to me ) but I have a feeling its newer, more agile replacement is just around the corner ;-) This message was posted from a S700

I still love my P900. However, the p910 has come down in price significantly. It cost only 50% of the original price now. So I expect a new Pxxx pretty soon to be announced.
