I got it for nothing, cos I'm on a high-spending tariff (online 300w/text)

good for you
i just wanted to know the RRP - as i've been offered upto £200 discount before, and i can get any phone cheap anyway sim free.... might go with the cheap line rental discount instead this year (as the w800 aint that special).... maybe lovewalrus can help out with the price - or i'll have to wait till i find my charger and ring 150 myself.... thanks anyway for the help.

@Sonyboy.... could u post what FW version they using as SE said they would NOT allow 'Branding' of any type on their Walkman Phones as the brand is too important. So for T-mobile to do their own branding is a big thing....

Jus in case u forgot its >*
Thanks mate.

@voda_jon - software version: R1L002 and customization is CDA102425/43 R2A T_MOB_INT A

@T68iKING - sorry i couldn't help. If you call t-mobile up and ask them what the rrp is on an upgrade on your account - its different for everyone.

Just spoke to T-Mobile and Sony. Well, it looks like whoever started the rumour that "branding" was not allowed is a liar. Sony are saying networks are allowed to brand the handset, and T-Mobile have said the same thing.

Who cares, its a great phone, and I don't intend leaving t-mobile anyway.

Thanks for that lovewalrus

Hasn't the phone only been out since the 12th in the UK..... seems pretty quick to me - especially for t-mobile

Can anyone take a pic of the branding? dont mind the start up and shut down stuff, just the main screen and also the menu layout?
