of course it is possible. if the phone can play 3gp with its proprietary software and avi etc with 3rd party software, there is no possible reason why a simple program could not link caller id to one of these.

This has been discussed many many times before! It isn't possible to let any 3rd party apps do this!
locked that part! People had the same problems when they wanted to make a app that would show sms senders picture!
