the first time i read the letter, i thought SE is really prioritizing me for pluggin in my name... hehe, thought so...

doesn't matter actually if the MMC 60 cable doesn't come along with a w800 box, there's always your favorite electrical shop for the RCA out cables...

hmm.. but seriously.. how practical is it to stick your phone into your hi-fi? just find the idea a bit funny... can't you play your CDs from your hi-fi?

Sure, but not all my songs are on CD, or if they are what if I want to listen to twenty songs from 20 different cd's. It's easier to copy a bunch of songs to the phone from the pc and plug into the stereo. Plus my current favourites are together on my phone, not on cd. Also, I could plug it into my car's fm transmitter and listen through the car stereo while driving. or play my latest songs at friends places. Or listen to the fm radio through my sound system (I have surround sound system and dvd player, but no fm receiver).
I have rca leads and mini-jack easily accessible on a switch box (so I can switch between inputs) and I regularly use the mini-plug to plug my mp3 player into the sound system. Since my mp3 player is now my phone, it would be very practical to have both rca and min-plug options for sending my phones music to various locations.
Sorry but your question is a bit narrow minded....
