If you can't see, there are 3 clips at the top (near OK) edge, two on each side, and two on the bottom.

I got this off by flipping off the three clips at the top first, then by using the pen, inserting it down the side of the numbers to get out each of the four side clips. The last two come out quite easily.

That should leave your keypad in 3 parts. Mask off the qwerty pad, the contact pads (they are stuck down very very well, and would be a right PITA to get off without ripping something), and the connection to the phone, and paint away.
