I think you should be able to use MyFriends on any supported network... maybe TMobile USA doesnt support MyFriends.. weird tho!!

Some operators have this feature removed as it is an alternative to sms - which the operators make money on.
I had this reinstated on my handset by updating the firmware on the sony ericsson support site - although
seem to be making this harder to do.
There are other ways to debrand - one is using davinci but you have to purchase credits in order to do this.

I saw this topic and signed up with it but I can send messages to my MSN contacts but they show up as offline even though are online and I don't get the messages sent back to me.
It is a really nice idea but no one seems to be answering the issues people are reporting in their forums.

what is the definition of debranding?? could you have a debranded phone and still work with the service provider (in my case Tmobile USA)???
