One thing I'd suggest as the light level is low is to place the K750 somewhere stable - rest it on a rock or something to minimise blur

Yeh, place it on something to stop camera shake, and if you put the self timer on then you can press the button, and then leave the camera absolutly still while it takes the shot.

Yeah and of course you have to use night mode. But play around with the white balance and brightness/darkness before u take a pic.

yes, and flash my help for close up, but will make anything beyond about 3-4 metres darker.

I don't think flash would do any good. You need a very well distributed lighting. Check the pic again. It looks like a bright moonlight with the aid of properly positioned spot lights.

Thanks....lots of feedback but....
* What about noise? Its very, very high in K750. Any way to reduce it?
* Is a 3-second exposure possible with K750? Any tricks or hidden stuff or tweaking possible?

Yeah, looks like there is a source of white light from the side...

Errr why are the people in the background so much bigger than the train? Is the subtle clue that its a TOY TRAIN!
What do i know, may be i'm wrong, what do you guys think?

Given the pictures I've seen from the K750, I think you can do it. Have a look at the 'post your K750-pics here' thread.
The picture is a very good picture because it catches the atmosphere so well, but:
- there is a fair amount of noise or otherwise jpg-spots (have a good look at the sky);
- the picture is not really sharp nor detailed, - it is somewhat underexposed I think - which gives its atmosphere - probably because of the lights of the train shining into the lens;
so I think it was made with a basic digital camera.
The "white light" you see at the left seems similar to the light at the right; probably it is the light in the station or the buildings nearby that can be seen. It looks so white because of the much warmer lights of the train attract attention. With our eyes the difference in colour woul be hardly noticeable (our eyes/brain correct that).
A flash of any kind would be totally useless here. It would ruin the picture with its pathetic 5 metres of light that would enlighten the stones in the foreground and render the rest of the image dark.

@number2
It looks to me like a real train, but I think the carriages have been photoshopped to give the impression of surrealism. There's just something funny about the way the carriages rapidly descend into the horizon...
If that part has been photoshopped, I wonder how many imperfections have been removed?
