can both of ya explain what i need to do, i dont understand... all i know is that i have had a jap psp since april and want to be able to use the wap/net thingy with mates...

do you have broadband? do you have a router? a router is a piece of hardware which shares out your internet connection for multiple devices. without a router you cant go online with your psp.
if you want to play against your mates, then go through the menu in what ever game it is

yes i have broadband, im pretty sure i dont have a router... is it inside the pc or sit on top? to play aginst mates i need the WLAN set up dont i?

all u need to do is have ur WLAN switch on to play against mates, a router is a separate peice of equipment. please do some research to save some time explaining
