I'm not sure if this will work... *#7780# default code 12345 is used to restore factory settings on S60 Nokias, maybe it'll work... Give it a shot, mate

I would think that if this code does not work, someone has changed the code in your 7250i. *#7370# or *#7780# is for Symbian phones only, not your 7250i.
The code can be set to the original by a couple of methods...
1. You need a cable/software to do so. When any code is reset you always take the risk of things going wrong, so you may loose information on your phone.
2. By generating a code from your IMEI, this will also open the lock code, and then you can set back to the original 12345 very easy.
I can reset your code if you are still having trouble by your IMEI.
