Why this is not a known issue? So far, 100% of the units tested by myself and by the distributor had this problem...

I think it's when it switches bitrates. I had a variety of bitrates of mp3s on my W800 and it would crackle when switched between certain songs. Try using the disk2phone and have it converted to one bitrate.

My K750i has the same problem too. Sometimes it crackles and pops...
But you'll get used to it.

Download this file and go look into how FAR Manager works (you can find everything in the software section of this board) so that you can replace the original phf_2_play.apf by this one. I used to have the crackling between songs aswell (on my W800i) but after doing this all has gone.
