Go to main screen, the one with the time and operator name. then keylock your phone. You'll see your screen saver. It will show for a few seconds. Now the next part is where you'll notice the difference. If you have turned on the clock, you'll see it appear, if not, you'll see a blank screen, no pixells are used. It does save battery, i'm sure of that. But as someone already said, it is probably very minimal and dependant on your type of usage.

Ah I realize where my thinking went wrong.
Without the clock, the screen blacks out on sleep mode. I initially thought it stays displaying the UI without the backlight.

Isn't that what it does? At least... when I tried, the screen remained the same but 'backlightedless'...

Nope. My screen turns completely blank (as if the phone is turned off) when it goes on sleep mode, when left idle after a while.
If I have the clock on sleep mode turned on, my screen "goes blank" (like above) but now has the clock on it.

standby clock good. save me having a watch - just look at me phone, "holy sh*t is that the time?" No worries at all.

Hey... I disabled it and it's working as expected; except when I'm in the Walkman player screen... where it stills keep showing (the clock) even if it's disabled...
Any thoughts?
