Yes you can. But you don't have to take out the SIM card, you just switch it of in the phone system I think or there is a seperate button on the side of the Phone.

I agree with burak302, P800 is the ultimate phone at the moment and for a while! All the other phones I have seen at the show are really not as good as and not even close to it.

Another info I can give is that Siemens is coming out with a 4096 color phone in January which ought to be small, but I don't have any other info on it.

Panasonic GD67 is really not a threat to T68 (priced at around 450 Euro), and GD87 looks like a nice phoone (priced at around 750 Euro), but they didn't have a working sample so I can't tell really whether it is worth buying.

Nokia 6610 and 7210 should be priced at around 550 Euro.
