Quote:So it will also give us a full application list as well while in flip closedYes.Quote:And allow the touch screen to be active?Yes. You can actually observe this on the image in the first post. That pop-up menu of the built-in internet browser only comes up when a link is touched on the screen.Quote:when is this going to be releasedA few weeks from now, after beta test completed.

Will there be any use for the buttons in flip closed?
Do we get to beta test or special beta testers?

So.... this is why we're still waiting for another Big Ben update! Only kidding. Looks like a good app - unfortunately I use flip removed so it's no use to me.

Greetings everyone...

I'm curious about this application.

My simple question, do we really need to navigate a FO (Flip Open) display through a FC (Flip Close) display? I mean, from the given picture it looks like the display was half cut and for me this is kinda uncomfortable.

When I need a bigger area, I open the flip of my P900.

Quote:do we really need to navigate a FO (Flip Open) display through a FC (Flip Close) display?Surely when you are at full comfort you better open the flip. On the other hand, there can be occasions when you want/have to use your phone in a discrete and compact way. Flip Extender will let you do that without the usual compromise in functionality. It actually enables a whole new way of using a P-series phone.Quote:it looks like the display was half cut and for me this is kinda uncomfortableYou will be able to "scroll down to under the flip", so all parts of any application will be fully accessible without opening the flip.Quote:Will there be any use for the buttons in flip closed? The flip (like all parts of the phone) "thinks" it is open, so buttons are naturally of limited use.Quote:Do we get to beta test or special beta testers? This time the beta test will not be fully open, but we will include a few interested guys from here. Beta announcement comes later next week.Quote:what this is likely to costPrice is not yet set. My boss says "this product will open up not just the flip but also a lot of functionality, so we hope its value will justify a moderate pricing".

@ Lisa@CPS:

Well... I should be waiting for any news from you soon then. After some good reviews posted, I will know whether I need this kind of application or not. Then I would like to ask whether I can order the application from you or not.

Thanks, Lisa.
