Me too! Anyway.( the menu can be influenced by themes. As far as I understand the concept, there are 2 or 3 pre-installed flash-files which build up the menu, and those flash-files can be referenced within the theme-definition )

Does it have a flight mode like the W800i.

W550/600 is not supposed to better than w800 (although its more advanced than w800 in terms of browser ,improved menu,inclusion of edge in w600 ) ,its a cheaper walkman phone .

iMO the menu´s icons are just ugly. Something from years ago and looks cheap. 3d icons are much better and easier on the eyes.w600´s idea´s cool but i dont like the design. i Still prefer the classic candy bar shape, it just looks neater than w600 with the ´different´menu and that weird big handle thing on the top of the phone
