Dammit, i fell off my bike on the way to work this morning!! Riding too close to a fence to let a jogger past, my handle bar caught a fencepost and i went bum over booby, clean over the handlebars. Because i was pedalling as well, the chain came off! Oh yes! Still, at least i've got a really cool bruise now.

Nerja was lovely. I loved all the wee windy streets and the views were just fabulous. Stayed at the Verano Azul apartments, which were okay, but it wasnt very *clean* - no change of sheets or towels for the whole week! The food wsa okay, some places we went it wasn't too good, and other places it was gorgeous. Found a wee Italian place in the plaza behind the Balcony Of Europe (fabulous view from the balcony!) which was just great...until she ordered mussels and i nearly spewed because i cant stand shellfish! Honestly, they were huge, all covered in hairs and barnacles and stuff! Euch! Anyway, the Caves were spectacular, well worth a visit if you're ever in the area. It was my first time abroad, and i thoroughly enjoyed it. It's given me the travel bug now, im off to Bulgaria in February.

did you go down to Playa Burriana (Burriana Beach), theres a great bar called Bitter and Twisted, run by ex brits... lovey nosh there.
If i'd know you were going i would of given you some tips before you went!

Never went to Burriana beach, im not big on beaches. Spent a day on the small one on the right of the balcony, though. Never checked out bitter and twisted, though it was recommended a couple of times. Watched the football in that small welsh bar, the 3 cliffs i think its called, i got so drunk it was unbelievable. Glorious.
