the device is cheap and u can send it by regular mail to cut down the cost, and main problem is the transfer of funds.... banks charges will include service charge, Telegraphic Transfer charge and foreign currency fees...

Get an Ericsson charger. Cut off the connector. Solder in an appropriate voltage LED (wrong voltage and it'll burn out). Epoxy as needed (reinforcement, and to sink the heat), etc, etc...
