Funny, I have the latest FW mentioned above and I tried all those "bug" but everthing seems to be ok?? Maybe I am just lucky??

I bought from a guy who imports cells from HongKong... It is a HK set as the paper inside has a SE Service center with a honger addy + when I looked at the stock FW, it is R1L002, blahblahblah_HK_BlahBlahBlah_C
Then I upgraded to R1N035 (via SE's Hongkong website) with with the honger FW/SW, that is when I posted the previous msg.... no problems tested and I did notice a slight improvement in the speed esp when loading the File Viewer with loads of ani gifs in 3x3 mode...
Now the F*@&ing Honger SW/FW forces you to have Camera sound even when in silent mode (too many sneaky pic perverts in HK??) so hands got itchy and tried to reflash with China (no click cam sound according to my friend with a China SW/FW K750)... As I only have the phone for less than 3 hrs, I screwed up.. by not finalizing in Davinci
Ok, so I paid 10 euros and then loaded these files:
K750i_R1L002_FS_CHINESE.DVT
K750i_R1L002_MAIN_CHINA_THAI.DVT
This time worked like a charm... no more blaring sounds when taking pics..
and also simplified chinese language. After having a faster Honger R1N035, I just had to update my China FW/SW to R1N035 too!!
Have been using the phone for a whole day, played & repeated countless MP3s playlist on my 1 Gig Card, I tried transfering 50++ mp3s to the phone via USB & card in the phone... no problems all files showed. Even tried to BT files/music/vids to/from my laptop no problems!! Even managed to record a 2 min++ HQ vid with no problem too......
Oh and this time, I upgraded the FW from SE's Singapore site, I think this doesn't matter at all as the file/update seems to come from one common "Globla Support" server/ftp..
So I really don't know why there are so many people saying that the latest FW is bad or makes the phone trip over some features. Like I said maybe I am just lucky??

I have china phone bought in singapore - updated to lated R1N035 two weeks ago.. no such problems.. everything a-ok.. ofcourse some issues with the updating process itself.. but thats another story..

i think we no longer be able to update the k750 unless
1. bring it back to SE service center to have them transfrom back your phone to k750 or
2. wait for seus to have a new firmware for the W800i.
as far as i can see, seus software recognizes your phone as W800i and that's why it always says there's no software configured belonging your model when you try to update your k750 from seus.

As of now, the software is fast enough and the pic quality is better/acceptable for what I paid for it...
I have no problem with any driver (even thou it says W800 modem, w800 this w800 that) it syncs with my outlook with no probs.
I am done with messin around with this phone... unless there is a DRASTIC change VERY SOON with a new FW/SW then I may mess with it somemore..... otherwise in 3-6 mths something new & shiny will catch my fancy and the 750 will be in the drawer along with the 6630, 6680, razer, 9300 etc etc etc.....

i see your point there and cant agree more. at least the media player is acting normal for the moment.
