SE could improve their keypads but overall they're ok...can't rate them against Nokia's because I haven't regularly used one(5110) in years.
I prefer keypads that are well set apart and differently textured from the phone body.

SE keypads have always bugged me. Especially the joystick. One of the primary reasons why i never bought a SE

I dont think the keypad are that seriouly bad till u decide to avoid SE. And when this post was posted had no meaning of disqualify keypad to such extent. The point here is we only need a small improvement on it. infact the w800i, k750i, k700i and a good number of T and S series has a nice keypad. On the side of joystick, I think it is the current technology on input devices which should be accepted due to its manuvourbility.

Even the samsung scroll system is good with that ' i ' button in the centre. I feel its easier than a joystick.

I love the k750i.... What I hate about it is the bugs and poor update service quality...
The Keypad is fine and with a little getting used to the diferences from other brands I think its just fine...
The Joystick well the joystick....
I wish all other phones had one that works as well as as easy as that one...
knocking it for the sake of knocking it... hey... I dont want a dented phone... Even if it crashes once in a while and could use an exterminator for all the bugs..... eh, mr cyberjaffa...

I find the k750 keypad a little "bendy". For example if you press the bottom of the key it bends. Because it bends, unless you press the key dead centre, it won't activate the key. With a leather case on, all the keys are held flat and they don't bend, so the problem only occurs when phone is uncased.
Since I use a case most of the time it's not a big problem and it doesn't concern me. However it's just something I notice. Motorola phones generally have flatter keys that can't bend so even if you press the key well away from the centre it still activates. When you are belting out a message using T9, you don't necessarily hit every key in it's dead centre, so an uncased K750 can slow down ur texting.
