Video capture on the P800 should be possible with a third-party software application. If the Development Kit would be free, it would probably already have been done by a shareware programmer. It's not that difficult, you capture at least 12 still frames per second, stitch them together, apply the compression and you're done.

I too am agreeing with Faca for the first time ever!!
Looking at the size of that phone it is rather P800 like in its dimensions. However I reckon they will change the keypad layout if they release that. It says it has predictive text, but I think it would be unuseable with that layout.
I'm on the verge of being won over by nokia again...

I think the T68 will sell quite well for some time to come. It's the most feature packed phone available.. (except for smartphones like Nokia 7650/SonyEricsson P800). And Nokia still hasn't gotten the grips with Bluetooth yet. Some Nokia phones support data via bluetooth but not headsets and some Nokia phones are the other way around.
If you count Nokia 7210 and 6610 as two diffetrent phones then you should count T68m and T68i as two different phones as well. The only difference between the 7210 and 6610 is the design.
BTW.. the SonyEricsson T300 will be available in just a few weeks and IMHO the T300 is much better looking than the Nokia 3510i (and these phones will probably be in the same price range), and most importantly the T300 will be available 4-6 months earlier than the Nokia 3510i.
Sure the Nokia phones has 4096 color displays. But my guess is that when Nokia releases these phones there will probably be quite a few phones with 16bit (65536 colors) tft displays. And these phones will probably come from Japanese manufacturers like Nec, Samsung, Panasonic etc.

The screens, with 256 colors you can barely see what is shown on it, if it's a photo. While 4096 colors in a small screen shows you the clearity of a photo. I think this will be important with the MMS rollout.
SE has done a good job, they made Nokia perform at their top again, and when that happens no one can compete these Finns

yeah, go ahead and get a nokia phone, then after 3 months, your nokia will have no more value, as they will introduce new models, same appearance w/ a little add-on, like email or melody composer, etc.

6610 and 7210 will be hitting the shelves shortly.
7650 is already in the stores.
3510i is to be available in Q4 this year i.e. Christmas market, max 3 months!
3650 is the only one to come Q1 2003.

I disagree also. 7210 and 6610 are different products, and remain as such. T68i replaces T68m. I.e. SE do not make T68m anymore, and the ones in the stores are the last left. These last T68m and T68i are competing with each other. And in fact there's in the mid-term one phone left: T68i while there will remain 7210 and 6610.
The good thing is that now people have the choice on what to take color-screen wise. And be sure that only a minority cares about Bluetooth

What about T68i then?
While it was the color-screen king for some time, its value was rather stable, but with a tougher competition, this doesn't hold any longer.
