correct I agree and deleting the paired devices does workfor the P series but you must turn on your BT to access your device list

I concur! Just delete all paired devices and the Bluetooth sign will be removed. I don't know what sapporobaby is talking about as every SE phone I own except the P Series does not display the Bluetooth symbol when it is turned off anyway. You're Crazy Man!

Turning off the phone is the obvious choice to remove the symbol. To think different is stupid. The originator did not mention his phone or if he had turned it off. All the none P-Series phones have the BT icon that can only be removed by turning the BT off, regardless if a device is paired or not. So, with this I am correct.

True, you don't know what I am talking about so leave it alone, because it is not an issue about turning off BT. You are in over your head. Stay in the shallow end of the pool.

I've noticed on the P910 you get a bluetooth disabled icon, is that what he meant? I find it useful!

Until bzprince specifies which phone he is referring to, i'd think we can safely assume it's one of the P-Series models... Why else post the query here, and not in another forum? This message was posted from a Nokia

Errr.... Mate, If you had looked at the pic at the top of this thread, you would have seen that the symbol showed that Bluetooth was turned off. He was asking how to remove this symbol. You sent him in the wrong direction by not reading his question correctly. Cheers you've been a great help, you can piss off now.

Also, Nobody said that they had to turn the phone off, I don't know where you got that information? Maybe YOU are in over your head, maybe you should learn to read English.
