Considering the kind of information and knowledge I have received from being a member of Esato, I guess I'd be willing to pay a fee to remain a member.

Does that mean the people that help get paid? This message was posted from a S700

I won't mind paying a small sum (yearly) or may be one time for spending time here on my favourite forum!

For how many people have esato members become a part of their lives??

I really care about some of my buddies here and would never like to lose contact with them..

Esato is a place I spend some time but not that much to say it is my life....

I must have met hundreds of people wilst I traveled for eleven years of my life and all over the world...

Some of these people I still have contact with and the vast majority I have lost contact with or have not pursued further contact with....

For me the real world is far more interesting...

No great amount of any forum can ever take its place...

@leviath u honored our community with your presence ca 2 weeks ago. might be u would see with another eyes this case after spending here a lot of time. but when u would compare this forum with any other on the net, u ll recognize that esato is sg really special next to the others. and not at least, on a certain way, we always "pay" for everything in our life. but this thread is dedicated for a special question, not for personal experiences imo

@leviath, that might be true in your case..

But, since the last year and half, this place has been a virtual home for me.
But i have to say that i have spent as much active "outside" life as i have spent here.

I still mountainbike as usual
I still go to college (albeit only for my exams!)
I still hang out with my "real" (the ones whom i can touch and see") friends.
I spend quality time with my family.

I don't think that a life outside of a forum, or a circle is "superior" to one we spend here.

And its only due to Esato that i have found some great friends around the world.

Thats not a mean acievement for a shy-introvert guy like me.

In answer to the question, yes i would pay. One thing that i like about this "virtual" life is that no matter how rich or poor you are, no matter if you are black or white how old you are and no matter wot you look like you are all equal, and everyone is judged on wot they say, not some of the above comments iv made.
