A] Different mail softwares would have different ways to set up, am sure Yahoo lists 'em. As I used PoP3 to access Y! Mails back when I got my 'spacious' 6MB id with them.

B] Like Rohit said, is it in the yahoo.co.in domain? Does your email id go like this-> yourUserName@yahoo.co.in ?

Oye veere i use Incredimail XE. i don't know much but i receive both mails addressed at .yahoo.com and .yahoo.co.in. But when i open yahoo mail acc the big logo shows "Yahoo Mail! India ".

If you have access to a server (a machine that can be left running all the time) you can use an application (I know of a Java-based one) to check your yahoo mail and respond to you as pop3.

I don't remember the name now, but can easily find it looking in google

I am currently using Yahoopops to access my mail via Mozilla Thunderbird email clients, and it works fine, only with your PC directly connected to the internet (not through LAN). It also works with other email clients like Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
