you can expand the memoery, you need to plug this in the usb conector and but additional storage media:

Motorola's line up of phones with expandable memory does tend to use TransFlash . V3 doesn't have any expandable memory (of which I know has already been stated) but using the Phone Tools software and a guide from Motomodders.net you can clear all the pre-installed stuff to have 8mb-9mb of memory in total.
