but if i use davinci ( just ordered service cable and log) with the correct CDA for vodafone maybe ?
some advice.pls

1) If you are updating from K750->W800 or W800->W800
2) If you can still use SEUS after the update

that's weird, i bought my w800 from the sony ericsson website and the flasher also detected it as a k750/d750... i believe buffboy also did w800 --> w800, not k750 --> w800, as evident in one of his other posts.

(flashing as of now using buffboy's "instructions."

Ive just updated my w800 which was O2UK branded using divinci, since i was locked out from SEUS.
Flashed with -

W800_R1N035_FS_EU1.DVT and
W800_R1N035_MAIN_EU_EMEA.DVT
and used CDA102430/9

Went to SEUS, which now tells me my phone is fully up to date and doesn't need upgrading
New firmware and unbranded hooray

How did you know the phone was O2 branded. SEUS tells me I can't update and can't see anything on the phone to indicate that it is O2 branded?

Well first off i got my phone as an upgrade from O2 online, and also the phone was full of O2 related stuff, and the top left icon in the menu was a O2 symbol which led to the o2 homepage.
And finally my phones CDA was 102425/9 which is for O2.
Now that ive changed the CDA SEUS allows me on
