Well, but if they're gay, (and there are chances some of them might be ) then that's a treat.

Sending them viruses sounds like a better idea...

@ bob, you are right, but the thing is it seems to give buyers satisfaction, I achually display them on my listings, the amount of people who achually just send a email to me about them are quite rewarding. I also like to think that I am doing some good by attempting to piss them off/get rid of scammers

Mysentiments exactly. I used to get tons of that stuff in my mailbox. I just delete them right off. In addition, I have set up a filter on my account that has been effective in keeping them ALL out.

Such tactless mails are really just a lot of nuisance. I have seen some of those boys send them out at local internet cafes here. They just copy and paste and mail en masse using "harvests" from email extractors. Why they do it is another question entirely: desperation? stupidity?

@kryptic: Thanks for taking a stand for the millions of honest Nigerians who still chose the path of honesty and integrity. Much appreciated

Besides, if you reply to them it validates your email address to them... and they're likely to sell your address along with a load of others to other scammers, spammers and general morons.

But I have been very tempted to send similar emails to scammers!

Q: hi there i am interested in your k750i. would you take 80 for it including postage many thanks mollyh123

A: when deciding to ask me 3 questions about 3 top of the range mobile phones, did it click that I am a mobile phone dealer? This means I know the current prices of mobile phones (new and on the second hand market) and im sure we both know that your offers a stupidly low, now stop taking the piss and either offer sensible amounts, or bid acordingly, just dont waste my item. Luke

I thought this was a lil bit more polite then the other one lol
