> K750 mp3 playback volume

I have this same issue. I've got the adapter to run my own headphones, it sounds terrific, just too quiet! With the bar all the way to the top it's only just loud enough, and is too quite for outdoor use (town etc...).
I've ordered the ones from Play (which are the same as the ones included with the W800i) to see if it makes any difference, but i'm not hopeful

I tried sennheiser hd650 (300 Ohm!) headphones with k750 fimrware r1n035 and volume is ok, but not that high.

I found the same with my sennheisers (HD202's). Volume considerably lower than ear bud headphones. Of course excellent quality though:-D

Why not try amplifying the mp3's you's listen to, i use MP3Gain and boost them to 98Dba, makes them nice and loud and doesnt create much clipping either. The good feature of mp3 gain is that you can amplify a batch at a time instead of having to do one after another.

Some users have posted that they can't turn theirs all the way up as it's too loud, I just wondered if potentially a different firmware level would fix my problem.
Going to try my mate's W800i in a minute, although from memory I'm sure it's the same.

K750 and W800 produces nice claritiness through the speaker. But then compare to other phones. Loudness sucks to the max.

My K750i is louder then my ipod! Deffiently louder then the k700i. Get yourself a 3.5mm convertor so you can use your own headphones, as mentioned earlier the provided ones are mainly for handsfree.

The reason for the artificial volume limitation is to conform to European laws that require audio devices to be incapable of doing permanent hearing damage. I think these sorts of laws suck, although I agree it helps prevent damage to young peeps hearing who don't know any better. They will appreciate it later.
But all said and done, we should be able to choose. They should make it possible to change the setting to non-limited, but give you about twenty warnings while changing it so there can be no misunderstanding about just what you can do to your hearing if you do choose non-limited audio output.
