well... never heard of the guy... even thought I have briefly heard of the Layer Cake movie through advertising.
I did really think Brosnan was worth one more movie before he retired from the role.
Having said that, my only real experience of him before bond was remington steele which I thought was a crummy series so I was very much surprised at his first Bond performance in Goldeneye so I guess time will tell if the new guy fits the bill or not

which is fair enough considering he proved his worth in the part.
it was just unfortunate that the next movie is a remake of the first that flemming wrote and thus required a young bond
