Hi torque_tonic,
The sideclips can be released by using a pointed paperclip or needle.
Note: At the centre beneath the sideclips, there is a semi-hole. If you keep pressing the paperclip through this semi-hole, the sideclips get ejected.

hi, i have a k500i and i was just wondering if taking off the casing should be the same because the side clips on mine dont seem to want to click. It looks like the bit between the back and the front (the black bit) is stopping them, any suggestions or help?

Hi. Thanks for the perfect description. But I had a new problem with my new cover. I changed only the front part and the part backside of the cover. I put the (not original) new front and backside on the original middle part of my cover. But this didn`t really fit. The keypad of my original cell phone was too big and the fake keypad was really bad because I couldn`t press some buttons.
Is it generally necessary to change the whole cover? Has someone experience with this described case?
Thanx for your help guys.
Regards,
Ralle
