Dont get the m130, it will not accept the bluetooth module-sd card. I suggest you make a list what you need in a pda, then list ur wants. Then find one that meets ur criteria! Expansion, and tight bugget do not in hand-in-hand. This post was posted from a T39

Don't buy a palm now. The current palms are slow because most of them run on 33 mghz dragonball chips from motorolla and they have OS4. OS5 is just around the corner and it supports arm chips which are 200 mghz or more. The next gen palms will also have built in bluetooth. I don't like the bluetooth SD card because you have to remove the memory card to use it and most of my softwares are in the card. If you want to buy now get a pocket pc as the others have recommended. But if you really want a palm because of more softwares available just wait for the new models. The dragonball chip will become obsolete soon because new developers will opt to develop for the arm chip.

i just checked palm site. there's a new one coming. the i705. non idea if its better than pocket pc's. (casio e200 etc.)

can i get a good pocket pc w/ bt at 20k? i hope u bear with me cause i just bought a desktop at 20k, so, if i decided to get a pocket pc, i'll be spending more than my desktop.

The i705 is not new. It has been out in the US for almost a year now and it supports wireless internet and email. You can only use the internet feature in the US and I think its costs around 50 USD a month to avail of this service. This also has OS 4, a dragonball chip and a monochrome screen. The best unit from palm for Philippine use is the m515 but pocket pc's have more features.

Go 2 palms usa site,look up the bt card compatibility. U will see that only the m500 series and i705 are supported. The first arm chips you will see in palms will be from motorola-200mhz. Os 5 might not support all previous software as first anticipated. This post was posted from a T39
