Thats the best offer at the moment Not sure how much delivery will be (depends if you want recorded/insured) but will look into it and let you know if I will accept your offer.

My new one should arrive in 3 - 5 working days so it will probably be late this week or the beginning of next week.

When it arrives I will literally swap the handset over from the new box and send you the new box and contents with the broken phone so it will come with the new charger, mem card etc.

The phone is scuffed from where it was dropped. There are scratches on the front of the phone in the bottom left and right hand corners and a few other little ones.

Other than that it does appear to be in full working order other than the fact the LCD screen has cracked and therefore does not work.

I will attach a picture here when I get home tonight and can take a photo of it.

I just wanted to be clear of the condition so I don't mislead anyone into thinking it is brand new other than the screen.

If anyone wants to beat £35 then feel free to make me an offer. I am trying to regain as much of the £50 my new one has cost me

Rich

I really shouldn't be doing this with my current financial situation, but I'll offer £40 delivered

btw, perhaps you should pm a mod and get them to move this thread to the 'phones for sale' section

Good point, I was wondering if they'd do that, and if it would be blocked just on O2, or across all networks. Sadly the phone wouldn't be of any use to me if it was blocked!

Even if you put it on Ebay even if it was blocked and with a broken screen, you'd get something for it, in fact you might be surprised still!

Just got my camera out to take a couple of pics and the batteries are flat.

I will charge them over night and grab a pic in the morning and stick it up.

When the new one arrives I will see if the old one is blocked. Would O2 have kept a record of my phone ID as they didn't ask me for any details or anything about it when I ordered the recon one.

We shall see. I don't want to ring them up and ask if they will be blocking my old phone for them to turn around and say 'Oh yeah actually we need that back' or something.

Il offer £50 and special delivery postage. Do the pictures from the phone work ok still?

Oh and if I was you put it as your selling it "as is". In other words it 'could' be blocked by O2 in the near future as its going to be replaced (although it might not) and obviously the screen.

Cheers for that link.

O2 will provide me with a reconditioned K750 for £50.

SE repair centre (ASR Logistics) weren't sure which price to replace screen as it is a new model but said it was either £64 or £93.

Or I replace it myself for £43.

I am thinking the reconditioned model is the way to go as if I try and fix the screen myself I may mess it up or may find that the fall has actually damaged other things.

Can anybody buy a recon for £50 ? Thanks,

No, reconditioned units in this sense are only offered to people who 'disable' there mobile phones out of warrenty or due to your own fault. It is usually in replacement for there old handset.

Just like when my PS2 warrenty expired then promptly broke the very same month, when PS2's were still £200, Sony offered me a reconditioned PS2 for £70 plus the old one.
