Try using 'BlueEyes' or some external File Manager to hunt 'em up. Or maybe, try to 'Send' it as a BT or Pict Msg..

You might not believe this but you need to MMS it to yourself and then save the sound file as a .wav, I think it's SE's idea of a joke. BTW, Sound Explorer or Alon Audio Recorder can both record as .wav or .mp3

i had to email it to m pc. That's just plain stupid considering it is so much simpler for SE to allowme to tranfer it from the phone just like any other file...i'll have to install Alon recorder for example so i can record and download whatever i want! Weird! I can't MMS it to myself, it has one mb!

@701: you may find the recordings made with sound recorder under c:\documents\voice\voicenote. hope this helps.

@jonny5: this solution is home-made so the only ones who should be ashamed are SE who failed to include a simple "save as" in the Sound Recorder application.

Fair point, I had a Siemens SL45 that told you where it saved the sound files too, and here we are 5yrs later with a vastly more sophisticated phone that can't do basic things like 'save as' or even sync properly with Outlook!!!

What I'm using is bluetooth shared, then in Messages, beamed, shared, i'm clicking on the file, and then click on save. Or the same trick send as email.
But still f**k SE are they so stupid?
Also, I have solved a lot of outlook issues after setting outlook as default mail program.
However, some issues are still there...
