If you scratch the screen protector it will look much uglier than scratching the screen...

I have never used a screen protector, I mean, I personally think that to get a phone like a W800, alot of it is about the fab look of the phone.
This topic reminds me of iSkins, I'd never get an iSkin for my iPod, I mean, all the point of having an iPod, is the beautifully crafted body, and sure, whilst it protects it, you can't see it, so the points end up cancelling out, if you get what i mean.
Don't use a screen protector, as @masseur said, eBay has extremely low priced housings, there's no point in making your screen ugly and bubbly in my opinion.

I have a screen protector on my K750 and needless to say. I am glad i bought it. I have the tiniest scratch on it, which is only on the protector. When the time comes for me to upgrade and sell it, it'll have a lovely jubbly screen.
If you take the time, you can get it on with no bubbles - like mine.

What's wrong with all of you.
You can get a screen protector off of ebay for next to nothing cost, it sticks on perfectly WITHOUT bubbles and it just provides a bit of security for your screen.
It doesn't get caught or come off unless you force it with your nails (and it's hard at that) and it's literally invisible, the quality of the screen image is identical.
Having spent hundreds of dollars on en expensive phone i think it's a bit foolish to not invest in something that is so cheap.

why do you guys buy this stuff (protector, silicone case). it's like hiding your phone from prying eyes. be proud as you are carrying one of the best phone in the land today.

If you dont want scratches on your phone, get a 8800
If you dont want that, then:
- carry your phone (like I do) in an iPod sock and/or
- or put a screen protector on it
- dont use your phone
