Quote:i need read my cdb file on my pc but i've had no luckWe are just setting up a data rescue service. Please send your contacts.cdb file to our support address, and you will get a vCard text file that can be read by various PC software or imported by a phone.

I do not think that ANY special 'rescue service' is needed;) Just do as I say - use UIQ emulator from UIQ SDK (you can get it for free from SE site). Put the Contacts.cdb file into the emulator's system/data/ dir and export it from there:)
Data privacy;P

You make it sound so simple!
It's not. The emulator is in the SDK. It's a big download, a pain in the ass to install and properly setup and in the end if you are not persistent you end up giving up.

UIQ SDK is about 200MB, but its worth downloading. You also can download Moto A925 SDK (~50MB only). There is really nothing to set up if you use A925 SDK, and almost nothing to set up in plain UIQ SDK.
Its his choice, anyway;) I wouldn't send my private data to ANY company.

And one more question about contacts.cdb: how to delete this file from the P800 ?

Due to synchronisation issues sometimes contacts in phone are doubled and this is very inconvenient. Any ideas ?

Have found the problem solution myself using only Outlook and Ericsson Comm Suite for P800

Problem solved

Is Lisa still here? I am still looking for some tools or service that could convert the contacts.cdb file into CSV file so it can be read by PC application. Many Thanks!
