Problem solved!! Do the above and use disc2phone to transfer files. When you're done transferring files, close disc2phone window and click on the remove safely hardware icon on the system tray. Was able to transfer 97 mp3's in one go just now.

@shanespencer

Maybe you can try the way what I had posted above in Windows XP.

I would like to thank you xuchen_sh because your suggestion just did work for me!

I tried to transfer an entire mp3 album (22 files, 95 mbytes) and my phone just did it faster (and for real!) than before. So I've closed the K750i MP3 window and, as I always did, I've disconnected my handset by clicking on the remove safely hardware icon (on the lower right of your screen) and, after I made my prayer to the Lord of the mobile phones, everything worked out.

So, for all of you who haven't tried it out yet:
it works and it also improves the speed transfer!

Now my phone does not have bug or issue anymore.

Have a nice day,
Miki (Anger)

P.S. It works with drag n' drop as with copy & paste

Nope. Not working for me.
How long shall we wait for a new firmware? Any ideas? I mean, this is a major bug and there should be an emergency fix release. Or would it worth buying a card reader since i cannot downgrade and no new releases..

Well ive got it working now too and if you do things carefully as described above then you'll find that it does work. I have to say this is the biggest help towards this problem that has been found yet, so thanks a lot to xuchen_sh

I'm sorry to say that it doesn't work for me. After changing the policy I copied a 183MB video to the phone. The video doesn't play
It works bulletproof with R1K001 and R1L002.

Now flashing back the R1L002

EDIT: Tried it one more time before flashing R1L002 and now it works. I'm puzzled ...

Wow! This method really works! Now I do not need to risk damaging the memory stick cover when I remove the memory stick to be inserted into a card reader. Thanks Alot Man!!!
