Mmmmm........... k750 is a high end phone dude

The K750 is not a high-end phone. It is aimed at the general user (hence it being free on virtually all UK networks). By high-end I am talking about S700, W900, etc...

I always thought SE's "high end" phones were the "P" series...
Anyway, you don't need a scratch-proof screen as long as you use it carefully. If you don't put your phone in the same pocket as your keys (my old BenQ didn't like that ^^) and fon't drop it, it shouldn't get scratches. And since the K750/w800 have excellent contrast, tiny scratches shouldn't be visible once the screen is on.

2MP camera is the standard nowadays. Most people will tell you it is aimed at the general market! Anyway, to get back to the original post, the K750 screen is plastic the same as virtually every other mid-end SE phone. The S700 screen is made from a form of scratch resistant glass (can't remember the exact name for it). To my knowledge no other SE phone has this feature (except maybe the W900).

The P series is another SE high-end phone but you can't have the glass screen on that as it is a touch screen phone.

So in short, no, the K750 never was meant to have a scratch resistant screen. This is reserved for the higher end models (barring PDA phones).
