300 times!!! That's rather a lot, I reckon they weren't dropping it onto stone. Having said that the Ipod mini lasted only 12 drops that's can't be good!!!

My K700i was dropped 12 times with the battery and the battery cover on, but without the battery, its hopeless! The screen broke the first time i dropped it while changing the sim card!

the real question is can u run it over?
ive seen that verti (sp? the really expensive diamond one) ran over by acar, and ive ran my old old old orange motorola beast over. that one doesnt really count though cos it was a diffferent make of phone, i ran it off AA batteries gaffa taped in
i definently think that its improtant to get more details of these tests before we take anythin conclusive, but if the n91 lasts 300 drops and the minii only 12 then thats sumin to thnk about. too many variables though
