Put some nasty photos on them and then burry them in your backyard.
Centuries from now, archaeologists will go beserk with the artifact.

That's a good point. I'm always conscious that it's possibly only a matter of time before I lose my P910, or maybe have it stolen. When I'm out and about, and maybe away from home for a while (so can't back up to a PC), I often copy valuable files -- like a Word doc I've spent a while working on or a video clip of great sentimental value -- to a spare small-capacity card and keep that card separate from the phone.

Keeping the card separate is the key thing here, else making the copy could be pointless.

save on them some memory files, like photos, mp3 or games , and put them in a safe place, for later to be seen and remembered!

I store a Little Britain episode and a few songs on each of mine. Makes it into a mini entertainment center

I have a 2GB in the phone that has all my apps and documents I need together with a fair few OGG music files the older 1Gb and 512MBs hold films for if I get stuck. But the 32MB has backups of passport and visa scans, insurance documents, driving licence, phone numbers, credit card details passwords etc. I take this on trips etc well hidden so if it all comes on top all I need is an internet cafe with a card reader to get all the details I need.
