marls, thanks mate
govigov, not that I've found yet! Only certain fabrics are transparent under IR light. I think I need a stronger IR pass filter to get rid of any residual visible light, and ideally I should remove the IR cut filter (I'm thinking of doing this to my K700), to get that result.
I'll keep y'all posted! In the interest of science of course

To make it even creepier, I spotted a face in the sky... maybe a death person? An alien? God himself...?
I'll left you wondering...

check the camera picture threads. There are ones for S700, K700 (the biggest), K750 and W800, and I think a couple of other ones here and there.

like so many posts and threads here ~ quite informative
anyway here's some pics...
(Esato server reduces images to "800 x" or I've Cropped them on the phone but none altered or enhanced)
This panaramic view of a sun set
Fields, this was cropped and shows a little reflection of IR or is it UV off the foliage
and a closeup of a green fern
I shall keep the knowlage I've learnt here and apply it in the future

you will never get that from a K750. Or any digital camera for that matter.
Digital Camera ccd and cmos sensors are only sensitive to "near infrared" light. Thermal infrared (also known as "far infrared"), is not visible to these cameras.
You need expensive specialist equipment for that.
@beep, nice picks mate!

but that will be soooo cool,
imagine if SE would make a add-on like that flash hub, only with far-infrared sensor?
...or if some1 would make... *grins*
