Sorry to say but expecting a mobile phone to give you good pictures is a waist of energy. Buy a real digital camera for your pictures and an iPod for your music and forget all about phones giving you these options. SE are the best phones though.

Yeah I agree that the best option is to have a digicam and an iPod, but I don’t want to carry around 3 devices (including the phone) all the time. Even though the camera is not as good as a digicam, both the music player and radio is good enough for me to replace my flash based MP3 player.

Actually I never expected the quality of a still camera from the phone, cos I have seen how bad they look in other models. However most of the reviews about K750 managed to change my opinion about phone cameras, even though it is kind of hard to take photos as good as those in review sites (cos I have trouble holding the phone still ) … it is quite decent and handy camera especially for a phone camera.

K750i is NOT a digital camera... 1.3MP digicams are still better than 2MP phone cams at least at low light situations, digicams have superior flash which eliminates unwanted noise.

The quality of pictures is no worse than a 2mp digicam, the controls that are built into the phone are what make the image look so noisy in low light. If you take pictures with the K750 and a flash, the quality is much better and there's almost no noise in them. With the built in flash light, the camera automatically crancks up the ISO to 800 which is what causes noise. If SE implements some manual overrides to allow control of ISO, we wouldn't have that much noise. Another problem is the white balance - If left on 'auto' it tends to give pictures a greenish tint. I almost always change it over to Flourescent in order to achive truer 'white' with the flash ligth on.

That have been my experience too when I had myK750i back then . . . poor NIGHT shots, but GOOD daytime 'exterior' images . . . But I guess the K750i/W800i/P990i is the BEST 2 MP camfone we have now OUT in the market - better than Samsung's D600 and 'perhaps' Nokia's N90
