whereabouts are you from just so we know! maybe if we see a great deal in your country of residence we can let you know about it, also waiting till after Christmasis a good idea as January sales, the new W900i will be released on Vodafone by then

all meaning the prices of K750i / W800i should fall a little bit more!

If you can wait a couple of weeks then maybe the W900i is more suited...
The W900i boasts several improved features over the W800i, including 3G, 470MB of onboard memory, 30fps video recording, larger screen, wired remote and dedicated 3D accelerator.
@groovemixer: If you want a good video recorder w900 is the way to go... And about the swivel... w900 has a button (automatic opening mechanism) to open it fast I belive.
Check
this link for a small video of it.

anyway back to your other question! 2gb card's are perfect with the W8 (or should I say SonyEricsson W800i - incase I get into trouble) eventually when 4gb card's arrive they should work as well! but again, 2gb card's are fine to use, and also will make an excellent size storage space for an mp3 player! who need's an iPod lol
Dont you mean Apple ipod? hahaha roflmfro

Regarding the birthday-function. I can’t place a birthday-note on my w800 like in Nokia. It is only possible to place a birthday-note for people in the contacts… I find the birthday-function better in Nokia-phones.

Birthdays are written in Contacts, just like you do in your Outlook proggy or similiar. Then they show up in the calender every year.
(Personally I'm still using an alternative solution I made when I got my T68i a hundred years ago: A wap page that shows me the birthdays).
About the frame-rate of videorecording, it depends on the firmware. The latest firmware records nice videos in my opinion. So did the first firmware, but in between those there's been a crappy firmware which disapointed a lot of people. I use the videorecordings for little "diary-snapshots", and for that purpose it's great.
