I'm quite glad this thread came up actually because I'm off to Goa for two weeks over christmas.
Anybody got any suggestions for any particularly good food / snacks / drinks I should look out for over there? From what I've read, the cuisine is quite diverse so I'd appreciate some suggestions
I like hot 'n' spicy stuff, the missus prefers milder stuff.

my mum's tuna casserole
chicken curry rice and chips
chicken fajicas (i know i spelt that wrong)
duck and pancakes with hoi sin sauce
chicken fried rice
barbeque ribs
anything with chicken
yorkshire puddings
and the list goes on.......

@cyco. Good time to be in goa. Try the local fare, particularly the goa sausage curry and chicken vindaloo. Also the pork sorpotel. If you like spicy food, you will love these dishes. Have fun and bon appetit. :-)

My perfect woman
couple of poached eggs on toast with several rashers of bacon (well done), mushrooms cooked with the bacon
and a large portion of bubble and squeak washed down with a nice mug of tea
