My brother's W550 FW is the same as everyone else's: cxc1250031 R4AB048.
I really envy W550's speakers. It's 3 bars and a half volume is already as loud as the full speaker volume of W800.

The only bug I've found so far is that you can't test the speaker, loudspeaker or LED light in the service tests mode, it just throws you back to the service menu.
Mine's the same firmware version as everyone else's, no updates yet. Plus, it can be done 'over the air' via GPRS so no messing with Syncstation or anything!

The W550i is desgined to be updated via GPRS not by connecting to the computer. That is the thing about.
I tried updating mine a few times but the firmware that people have here is the current one.

But in Armenia, there are many firms, & thy doing this (changing language) by PC & it is 10$.
