> When Did you get your first mobile phone?

I got my first one on November 9th 2000, around the time I started earning. It was the brick, Nokia 5146.

Back in '95, got myself a big ol' Motorola with a flip(don't remember the name of it though). Think it had a standby battery time of about 4 hours....Hehe

@Raven: I think the name on that phone was Startak5200 or somthing like that. I got one myself in 95, I think!
But...the best phone were the Ericsson GA628 and the GG688, solid as hell...

then got sense and bought a nokia 5510 thought it was brill until i got my nokia 3310 but now ive got a t68i only gets better

Motorola Pocket Classic 1100. i still have it with me, and i think it still is working. batt life is a mere 5-12 hours.
and the display is a one-liner of 7-segments.
got it '97, when i was 2nd year high school.

it was in 2001 i got a nokia 8260. liked it, it got stolen, got a 3360. modded it, gave it to my sister as a b-day present and got my current t39m, LOVE it more than any other phone i used (except the t68i and s100)
