i route through three proxy servers and I can't download anything from rapidshare, as soon as I disable my proxy servers everything is fine! personally I think rapid share is utter rubbish so I stick to my own ftp:// server when I want things uploading

With the amount of stuff Im sharing, I dont allways want to use my own ftp server, cause that would generate GB's of traffic, hence I use rapidshare for some of it.

Appologys to those having problems, but saying rapidshare is crap and just wants to force us to use premium account, is utter nonsense. Especially when people dont describe what the problem is, what happens, or how long you get in the process. If you cant download using the free account, you wont be able to download with a premium account either. Cause the blockage is somewhere at your end, not rapidshares.

If anyone are having troubles downloading from rapidshare its caused by "local setups", i.e. client settings, browser settings, proxy routings, firewalls, router settings, nat routings, either at the enduser or his ISP whatever etc. etc.
Blaming rapidshare for not having control of how once personal computer/internetsettings works are silly.

Its not up to Rapidshare to ensure that Defensive can still download when routing through 3 proxys, Rapidshare has no way of knowing or controlling how these proxys are set up, but atleast Defensive himself know enough about his setup to turn these proxys off and still be able to download.

PS: Its not that common routing through 3 proxys, trying to hide your real IP Defensive ?

W8 20 or so seconds...
Then type in the field the 3 chars asked for...
Download...
