@BobaFett
3 things that seal it for me:
Handwriting recognition
My 512MB memory stick and card reader
Availability and quality of 3rd party software (I know there's a lot of apps available for s60 but they just don't match up to UIQ)

Admittedly the p910 camera is pretty awful but i take my camera around with me most of the time anyway. Until they start making 6MP camera phones, that's unlikely to change.
I used s60 for over 12 months before switching to UIQ. s60 sucks, comparitively. IMHO.

Have you tried both UIQ and s60?
I have, s60 is far, far inferior. I'm not trying to big up se over nokia, i've no loyalty or preference other than my opinions based on experience and the performance of the different systems. s60 3rd party apps are basic compared to the decent ones available for UIQ.

i tried p series, but was never a big fan of them, mainly cos i go crazy at the stylus, have no talent for that. i have some apps in my 6680, guess, they do fit my needs. i think it will be more interesting to compare p990 and n80.

whoa!
you want to compare the n80 with the p990?
now you're being unreasonable!
it doesn't even match up to the p910 IMHO. p990 has wifi, touch screen, useable qwerty keyboard, workable web browser, etc, etc, etc.
if you want a phone that just about manages a couple of other semi-useful functions, and like the nokia badge, fair enough.
if you want a powerful, adaptable, workable truly multifunction device, forget it.
hey, don't get me wrong, if nokia release a uiq touchscreen phone with up-to-date functions (please don't suggest the 2 year old 7710) then i'll be very interested.
until then there's only one device for me, and it's a p!

posted from my p910 using handwriting. my laptop doesn't even do this!

well, i think next to the mentioned features, very important how the fone "acts" in umts system. i tested n70 on "3", very good and fast. guess we have to wait til the p990 release. streaming, battery standby and power are very important at umts system. the nokia batts are pretty strong, have very good experineces with them. imo p990 should have at least 1260mah batt ( like z1010 ) if its more, then its more welcome.
