the easiest way to tell is if it only says windows xp on the boot screen or says what type of windows you have, eg pro. if it just said xp then you have sp2

thats correct, if it just says windows xp on the boot screen with a blue bar then u got sp2

i installed the installer and all - and it installed updated but still says SP1 lol ill try the reboot thing when i get home
